Since 1998, Gretchen Rosenberg has been a Broker at The Kentwood Company at Cherry Creek in Denver, Colorado. In 2006 she added the role of Managing Broker while continuing to work with her real estate clients. She has achieved several accomplishments throughout her career in the residential real estate industry, and Gretchen Rosenberg also serves as a Director of both the Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. I had the chance to talk with Gretchen Rosenberg earlier this week about her career over the past few years.
Q: Can you tell me a little more about The Kentwood Company at Cherry Creek?
A: I would be happy to. We are one of three offices at the top-performing residential real estate company in Denver, and the National Association of Realtors recently highlighted The Kentwood Companies as one of the top 100 brokerage firms in the U.S. and the number 1 brokerage in terms of per-agent sales volume. That's with just 157 agents. We are not a large firm. In 2010, we sold more than $1.1 billion in company sales volume.
Q: That’s an impressive number of closings! Outside of your career, what are some of your interests?
A: I volunteer in the community as much as time allows. A few organizations I've had the pleasure of working with in recent years are the National Kidney Foundation, the Children's Hospital Foundation and the Center for Speech, Language and Hearing. I've also supported through donations The Autism Society, Women for Women International, The Food Bank of the Rockies and The Women's Foundation. As for my personal hobbies, I greatly enjoy walking my dog, exercising, beading, reading, skiing, and participating in book groups.
